Labour Market Survey

Background

In 2018, Don Bosco Tech Africa conducted a Labour Market Survey (LMS) across Africa and Madagascar. Twenty-three (23) countries within the Salesian context participated. Five (5) countries, including Nigeria, received awards for their active and excellent performance.

After analyzing the data, it was evident that renewable energy is not being used by a large percentage of Nigerians. As a result, Onitsha, Nigeria has been chosen to benefit from the Global Program to address this gap.

Global Program

The Global Program

The Global Program is funded by the German Federal Ministry (BMZ), through Don Bosco Mondo, Germany, and the implementation is coordinated by Don Bosco Tech Africa (DBTA).

The benefitting countries are Angola, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Chad, The Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Madagascar, Malawi, Nigeria, Rwanda, and South Sudan.

The Program has five main pillars: Capacity Building, Modernization, Job Service Office (JSO), Green TVET, and Networking.
